Evolving Since 1986: Here’s Help Staffing and Recruiting
2024 WINNERS of the OC Chamber of Commerce Best Business to Work for – Small Business
Since its inception in 1986, Here’s Help Staffing and Recruiting has been a beacon of connection and partnership for local businesses. Under the stewardship of Diana Kornish, the firm blossomed, known not only for its dedication but also for the warmth of its heart. However, as the sands of time shifted, Diana made the decision to retire, entrusting the legacy to two exceptional women whom she believed would carry her vision forward.
Kathy Carroll, originally seeking temporary work, unexpectedly found herself on a different path when Diana recognized her untapped potential. Diana offered her a crucial role within the firm, and Kathy flourished, carving out a successful career in the staffing industry.
On another front, Cathy Parlapiano, with a rich background in human resources, skillfully managed the office while concurrently running an active recruiting desk. Cathy too thrived in her role, adding her unique value to the organization. While neither Kathy nor Cathy had initially considered taking the reins of the business, they both came to understand that this was the very path Diana had envisioned for them—a path that was not only right for each of them but also for the future of Here’s Help.
In 2008, Diana gracefully handed over control to “The C/Kathys,” and for over a decade, Carroll and Parlapiano have guided the business to new heights. They’ve diligently expanded the firm, nurturing a dedicated team of recruiters and a steadfast support staff, overseeing payroll and administrative functions.
As we embark on this new chapter, Here’s Help Staffing and Recruiting continues its legacy, with Cathy Parlapiano now standing as the sole owner, upholding the foundations set in 1986, and eagerly anticipating the creation of even stronger connections in the years to come.
