In 2023, the company entered its next chapter when Cathy Parlapiano became sole owner. With decades of experience in human resources, recruiting, and workforce solutions, Cathy leads Here’s Help with a focus on strengthening client partnerships, creating opportunities for job seekers, supporting the local community, and continuing to grow the firm throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond.

Cathy’s leadership is part of a legacy that spans generations. In 2008, founder Diana Kornish entrusted the business she built to Cathy and Kathy Carroll, recognizing their leadership potential and shared commitment to the people-first values at the heart of Here’s Help. Together, Cathy and Kathy led the firm for more than a decade together, expanding its services, growing its team, and strengthening its presence in the region before Kathy’s retirement.

Today, Cathy and the Here’s Help team continue to build on that foundation, combining nearly five decades of experience with a forward-looking approach to recruiting and staffing. While the workforce has changed considerably since 1979, the philosophy behind Here’s Help remains the same: relationships matter, people come first, and the right connection can make all the difference.
